The park is a mere 15 miles from Valdosta, but it's a world away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The park is home to two lakes, Banks Lake and Grand Bay, as well as a number of aquatic species. Banks Lake is a 106-acre blackwater lake and is a great home to a number of fish species, including bluegill. The park also boasts an amphitheater and volleyball court, making it a fun place to bring the family for a weekend out.
